Part Time Hospitality Assistant

20 hours per week. Hours can vary depending on when wakes are held but will generally be from 10am – 2pm Monday – Friday. We can offer additional flexibility and possibly look at a 4 day week so feel free to apply and we can have a chat.

£10,001 (£9.59ph) + Site performance bonus up to 5% + Benefits

We have a vacancy for a Part Time Hospitality Assistant to join our friendly team based at our beautiful West Suffolk Crematorium (Near Risby / Bury St Edmunds).

We are the largest independent operator of crematoria in the UK, employing more than 400 empathetic and dedicated individuals and we are growing.

The role

Our West Suffolk Crematorium has hospitality suites and café onsite to serve families that choose to have a wake with us after a service, as well as offering a relaxing space to reflect with a coffee for families visiting a loved ones memorial.

You will provide a first class customer service to our customers when serving food and drinks, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and preparation are maintained.

You will be till trained and need to accurate cash handling skills.

As part of our busy team, you will ensure that families are given the best experience possible.

This role requires flexibility and pulling together as one team to support each other and provide the exceptional care and service that we are known for.

Wherever the day takes you, your attention to detail will make sure we get it right – which is so important to what we do.

About you

· We are looking for someone who is a real team player with natural compassion and the desire to make a difference every day.

· Previous experience working in a Front of House hospitality setting in a café / restaurant / bar / hotel etc as a Waiter / Waitress / Server would be preferred.

· Happy to work 20 hours per week flexibly.

· Comfortable communicator able to speak to people in a caring and understanding manner and provide a first class level of service.

· Organised with excellent attention to detail.
