When you join them as HR Administrator, it’s an opportunity to be a part of something truly meaningful and significant.

 

The challenge

You’ll be an important player in making sure our organization runs smoothly in terms of managing people process effectively and efficiently so that we can continue to set new standards in funeral care. Supporting the HR Team, you’ll be there to answer questions and offer front line advice to employees, or if you aren’t sure of the answer yourself, directing them to someone who can help.

Your input will always be valuable because you will offer timely and accurate administration across the whole employment lifecycle, creating a positive experience for all employees, ensuring that issues are resolved, and queries are answered.

You will be the ‘go-to’ person for CIPHR, our new HR System and will manage, update and be comfortable with making changes to the system as it evolves and grows along with our business. You’ll be comfortable with generating reports as and when they are required by the business, adding value by suggesting solutions to problems and insight to the data you are providing. This role will provide you with a very broad exposure to all aspects of HR, enabling you to develop relationships with employees and managers alike.

The person

You’ll be an integral part of the team, so you’ll need amazing organizational skills and be able to clearly communicate across all levels of the company. You’ll be dealing with large numbers of employees, on different sites and handling a range of issues, so being approachable and customer focused will be key to your success. That makes prior experience and having an understanding of HR systems desirable. You’ll maintain utmost accuracy when updating employee records, recording and interpreting data and documenting all HR records, and you’ll frequently be doing all those at once, so multi-tasking skills are essential.

You’ll be the key person to work with the HR Director in producing our People Stats for the Board, and so hot excel skills and a head for numbers is important. You are a confident and clear communicator, who is able to balance competing priorities and effectively manage the relationship with payroll, understanding the importance of working as one team to ensure smooth transition of pay changes.

The competence you exude will help employees to have confidence in the HR service delivered to the business.
